An exciting Designer opportunity for football, sports, viral content and Scottish humour fanatics has emerged at a growing digital agency. This is a full time, permanent position with the opportunity to work with likeminded, enthusiastic social media experts, marketing professionals and product developers.  You’d be joining an existing team of designers who are passionate about creating content that boosts the reach of the agency-owned and client-owned websites and social pages.

The agency has been going through continuous growth since the covid-nineteen pandemic and is currently sitting at a headcount of over twenty team members. With plenty of room for progression and the opportunity to work on some exciting projects, this role is perfect for any Designer with experience in website design, content creation and who has an interest in sports and social trends.

The Role:

The agency owns a number of popular social media accounts related to sports-betting, meme creation and topical conversation. They also help manage popular social media accounts of clients within the same fields. Additionally, these social media accounts often come accompanied with their own websites. The Designer role will help with creating content for the social media accounts as well as help with website design, therefore a working understanding of UX and UI is beneficial for this role.

The style of the content produced is very tongue in cheek and has a focus on Scottish culture, sports, and current trends. As such, the role offers an opportunity to work on some of the best accounts on social media today.

Responsibilities:

Considering each brand’s identity in creating original designs.

Managing and taking ownership of multiple projects and deadlines.

Producing aesthetic web designs with UX created for the specific target audience.

Creating and expanding on existing brand assets.

Offering innovative ideas, both visual and conceptual to the wider team.

Supporting the marketing department by producing daily content, developed from existing graphics templates to deliver on social media strategy.

Analysing data from content produced to adapt decisions and strategy.

Providing support when planning and executing social media ad campaigns.

Requirements:

Attention to detail and a high standard of work produced.

A drive for continuous improvement, as well as a working understanding of the latest trends.

The ability to work within a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects.

Confidence in communicating ideas for creative output.

Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe photoshop and Figma.

The ability to combine an innovative approach with commercial ideas.

Experience understanding brand guidelines and ensuring these are adhered to in designs.

The ability to deliver innovative UX and UI concepts.

An understanding of audiences across various social platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

A team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues with tasks outside of the job role if necessary.

An analytical thinker who can derive insights from data and make informed responsive decisions.

The ability to communicate effectively in a team.

The ability to adapt to situations and a willingness to learn new design tools, software and methods.
