You will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all salon guests. The main purposes of the front of house is for customers to feel welcomed and assisted with any query, they are also responsible of playing a big part in the general running of the reception desk and help to maintain a smooth bookings service.
You must be hardworking, efficient, and must have good initiative. You must also be able to work well under pressure, have an excellent telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and preparing clients for their appointment.
Offering and preparing hot and cold beverages.
Answering and making calls, to and from clients.
Managing email or direct message queries, ensuring you are replying back to clients in good time
Booking client appointments, ensuring all appointments are accurate and are within the correct time slots to maximise stylists/therapists time efficiently.
Checking out clients at the end of their appointments
Rebooking clients for their next appointments
Taking deposits.
Managing stock control and ordering of products.
Keeping salon clean and presentable throughout the day.
Creating and producing content for social media posts and stories
Creating and sending marketing emails
Marketing; contacting influencers, brand agencies
End of day cashing up
Other admin duties
What experience we need from you…
a minimum of 1 year experience in a salon environment
a minimum of 1 years experience in a sales or customer focused position
Shortcuts Booking Software experience (desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
Social media savvy eg Instagram and Facebook
This position would be ideal for someone who has had experience in hairdressing or beauty and is looking to take a back seat from treatments/services.
