In partnership with an award-winning, medium-sized studio based in a quirky, modern office in Manchesters Northern Quarter,, Conrad Consulting are looking to recruit a Project Architect. You will be working in a Senior role from the offset with guidance from an experienced, motivated Director.
This is very much a design-led practice with a committed to strong design & delivery, close working relationships with external clients and the design team. The current design team are comprised of around 8 designers; both Architects and interior Designers, all of which contribute to an enthusiastic working environment. This vibrant atmosphere is felt throughout the company; from the Senior Design team through to more newly qualified members of staff.
The current vacancy we are recruiting for is at 'Project Architect' level, for the successful applicant to undertake a strategic role on a selection of interesting projects, varying in both size and nature. Typically these will include Student Residential, PRS, Commercial Workplace, High-Rise & Masterplanning sectors. There is a clear, un-restricted path through to a Senior level here. It is forecast that within 2-3 years the successful individual here will be operating at Associate level as the practice continues to grow.
We would hope the applicants meet the following criteria:
* ARB/RIBA Qualification (Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience).
* Residential (Student Resi/High-Rise/Hotels etc) and Commercial Workplace experience would be viewed favourably.
* AutoCAD proficiency.
* REVIT preferable, not essential.
* Vectorworks preferable, not essential.
* Personality and cultural fit are important here: you must be able to work with people.
This position is to be based in Manchester, head office. Thus allowing you one-to-one contact with the ultimate decision makers within the business.
