Senior Architect
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £55000/annum
An opportunity now exists for a Senior Architect to join an award-winning Architectural Practice based close to Paddington, London.
Established over 20 years, the highly collaborative studio have earned a reputation for creating high quality architecture for a variety of building types. Designing and delivering local & national award winning projects to achieve a comprehensive and cogent holistic design resolution, the directors define the design ethos and philosophy, which are then refined by the design team leaders throughout each project stage.
The ideal Senior Architect will be proficient in the use of AUTO CAD, be an ambitious Architect looking to enhance & develop your skills on a range of projects surrounding mixed – use, commercial & residential., currently in the detailed design & construction stages.
Requirements of the Senior Architect for this role include the following:
ARB/RIBA chartered Architect – minimum 10 years Post Part 3
Minimum 5 years in an UK Architectural setting
Excellent visual, written & spoken presentation skills to contribute to high quality documentation
Good design skills and an interest in contributing design options and ideas
Comfortable under pressure to meet deadline
AutoCAD essential, 3D modelling skills are a bonus
Comfortable with Adobe design Suite – In Design
Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process
Ideally worked on all RIBA stages from conception to completion
Confident job runner with previous project delivery experience
Confident in coordinating and liaising with Clients, Sub Consultant, Contractors etc
Motivate & manage junior team member
