As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be joining one of the top AJ100 practices in the UK, becoming part of a company wide team of close to 200 members of staff. The practice has been established for over 30 years, in which time they have developed a stellar reputation for delivering high quality projects in a variety of sectors.
The sectors worked within primarily across the business include; Housing, Commercial, Education, Student Living, Hotels, Hospitality, Healthcare and Leisure. This is the perfect position for a Senior Architectural Technologist looking to broaden their horizons and sink their teeth into a wide range of interesting and challenging projects.
The practice have appeared prominently on the AJ100 rankings consistently for years, which is testament to their ongoing development of current staff and their strategic planning when it comes to recruitment. A position is now available within the Birmingham office for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join the team.
THE ROLE – SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
The position on offer is for a Senior Architectural Technologist with at least 5 years of industry experience, ideally gained within a private practice environment. The person taking up this position will be expected to lead projects while being the head of a small team of Architectural Technicians.
The Senior Architectural Technologist in this position will need to be confident in client facing situations, have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently and effectively to budget.
The Senior Architectural Technologist for this role will be working on a wide range of project types within a variety of sectors, so it would be ideal for applicants to this position to have broad experience in areas such as; Residential, Education and Commercial property amongst others.
The practice offer ongoing development and support to their Architectural Technologists, encouraging them to fulfil their potential to the fullest with clear routes through to Senior & Associate level and beyond.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Possess a degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
MCIAT accredited.
At least 5 years of industry experience, which will include experience of working at a Senior level.
Job running capabilities and confidence in leading a team.
Varied sector/project background
