Salary : £45000/annum

Project Architect required to join the London Studio of a premier AJ100 Architectural Practice situated in Central London.

You will be joining one of the very best practices in the UK who also have studios in Manchester and Leeds with a superb reputation and are responsible for landmark developments nationally and locally and feature consistently inside the coveted AJ100 register.

The successful Project Architect will be joining a growing residential team with diverse high quality projects based in London, with clients ranging from charities, commercial developers & housing associations. Reporting to the Management team you will take a lead role of projects from design stages through to planning and site visits. A practical understanding and passion for sustainability is required, as the practice works towards the governments target of net zero carbon by 2050.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects with a high level of design collaboration with senior team members. The practice encourages an open design dialogue and participation alongst all our team members to create a fluid and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be able to take a lead in executing designs for key clients through early-stage design work from inception to completion, reporting directly to senior management.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be a Project architect, who can think strategically and has the ambition, drive and ability to successfully deliver high quality, innovative design ideas with a working knowledge of residential and office design alongside the relevant guidance and specifications that underpins the successful delivery of projects.

You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Managing projects through the early-stage design concept and overseeing this through the delivery stage with technical support.
Liaising with key clients and be capable of discussing design/technical solutions with stakeholders.
Overseeing design quality, setting direction and reviewing design information.
Perform the duties of lead consultant and liaise with clients.
Successful delivery of projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
Excellent Revit and IT presentation skills. Excellent design skills and technical understanding gained on a range of projects.
Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines and work on various projects concurrently.
Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to carry out design concept to realisation.

Essential criteria:

ARB / RIBA affiliated fully qualified Architect
Software: Current working knowledge of Autodesk REVIT, Abode creative suite, Photoshop & InDesign.
A minimum of 3 years UK based experience as a fully qualified Architect in an architectural practice
Proven experience of the residential and or office workplace

A highly attractive salary would be on offer likely to be circa £45,000 per annum with an agile working module of office /home remote working plus other exciting benefits.
