Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £35000/annum
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join an award-winning medium sized Architectural Practice based close to Millbank, London.
Characterised by strong conceptual thinking, sustainable design and collaborative working, the design-led practice are committed to delivering high-quality innovative architecture in a wide range of sectors, from large regeneration developments to new builds and refurbishing schools, youth centres, libraries, residential & mixed use. Sustainability is firmly embedded in all the work carried out and they are involved in a number of zero carbon residential schemes, several high profile education projects and two large scale mixed use urban developments.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of REVIT, be an ambitious Architectural Part 2 Assistant looking to enhance & develop your skills on a range of projects, initially working stage 3 & 4 of the largest & most significant regeneration project in Westminster.
Requirements of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant for this role include the following:
Master's degree in Architectural studies – Essential
Excellent visual, written & spoken presentation skills to contribute to high quality documentation
Minimum 1 years experience in UK market – Essential
Able to work autonomously & and comfortable under pressure to meet deadline
Software knowledge in Revit (Essential) AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite – Advantageous
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process
Ideally worked on all RIBA stages from conception to completion
Experience of RIBA stages 1-4 demonstrated in portfolio
