I am working with a global gaming company who are expanding their team across the UK and Europe, they are currently going through a big recruitment push and are looking to bring in an experienced Games Designer.
In the role you will primarily focus on the overall user experience, conscious of the core game mechanics and ensuring the audio and narrative elements work together.
Your main focus will be working on games, but you will also have the opportunity to help out (depending on skills and experience) with R&D and help to develop internal tools and carry out best practice.

You will form part of the core team on each game, working alongside a mathematician, art director, and sound producer.
What you'll do as a Game Designer:
Map out the player journey, managing the overall UX and UI
Communicate and maintain project documentation
Play testing & providing regular feedback
Work alongside the Art Director, Mathematician and Producer to define & drive the game's development
What you'll bring as a Game Designer:
Experience in hands-on game design and an understanding of player psychology
Great written skills for documentation as well as clear verbal communication to present game design ideas
Ability to work with multiple teams
Time management and ability to carry out duties in a timely fashion
Experience in designing casino and video slots games preferred
Background in social and mobile gaming a bonus
