We are searching for an Interior Designer for an exciting and growing business based in East Devon.

You will report directly to the Creative Marketing Manager, and you will be working closely with a very friendly and supportive marketing team.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Designing and styling room sets to a high standard of interior design for photography and video content.
Working with an inhouse set building team and external 3D render companies.
Maintaining and improving the photographic integrity of brochures.
Recording product and prop information for all photographic files.
Creating and maintaining good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including furniture lenders.
Assisting with other adhoc design projects as and when required, i.e., showroom, displays and exhibition stand designs.
The main contact for instore branding concepts.
Conducting showroom surveys and consulting with retailers & sales managers regarding showroom design requirements.
Costing the design and installation proposals and ensuring they are delivered to the agreed costs.
Offer design services and subsequent implementation guidance and support to partner retailers.
Conduct associated administrative tasks such as purchase orders and expenses.
Hands on approach to lighter set build requirements in certain instances.
Retailer sales and performance analysis after new concepts are installed.
Ongoing concept refinement and creation of new concept designs for showroom updates.
Ability to work from home two days per week upon successful completion of probation period.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

HND or A' Level or Degree in Interior Design or being able to demonstrate a high degree of expertise working as a commercial Interior Designer.
Interior Designer/Creative background with commercial experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Strong project management skills and good attention to detail.
Proficient with the use of Photoshop & SketchUp (or similar visualising software), although training can be offered.
Have the ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication skills, across all levels and be able to manage and co-ordinate subcontractors.
Friendly and approachable nature with a positive attitude.
Must be able to use own initiative, prioritise and plan.
A high degree of computer literacy.
Full driving licence.
Hands on, pro-active, self-motivated and have a flexible attitude.
Enthusiasm to learn new skills and ability to grasp substantial amounts of product information.
A strong understanding of Studio Photography processes.

The client is also offering home-based working 2 days per week once probation has been completed – the role does require office-based working and is not fully remote.
