CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £32000/annum
Pertemps are looking for a full time permanent CAD Technician to work within a company who is a market leader in their specialist construction field. They have taken on many projects and upscaling the delivery capability which has produced this opportunity. As part of your role you will be performing a variety of designing and drafting activities for the internal personnel, this will include dimensional, installation, production drawings and more complex if required. In addition you will be doing clash control on 3D drawing files, reviewing architectural plans, specifications and other customer documentation. In this great opportunity you will be helping to support the factory with the site installation process, developing prototype designs and resolving issues and designs for the final production. You will be undertaking site visits as required and ensuring the implementation of IMS procedures with the department, along with contributing to the companies ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems along with BOPAS, CE marketing and EN1090 accreditations/certifications. Ideal Candidate
Architectural/ Design or technical background is not essential but is advantageous
An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods is advantageous
Knowledge of software and skill including using 2 & 3D CAD / other 3D modelling software such as Revit, Vertex and Tekla as necessary and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Good working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015
Good communication and people skills
Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality
Ability to present ideas effectively
Good Forward planning
Able to evaluate ideas of others
Ability to work individually or as part of a teamHours 8-4pm Monday – Friday
