Senior Architectural Technologist

Senior level Architectural Technologist required to join a progressive medium sized Commercial Architectural Practice to be based either within their impressive contemporary Leeds City Studio.
Our long-standing client have recently relocated to a striking new studio space in the upcoming South Bank area of Leeds City centre and have also invested in a new Website and portable cloud based technology. This is a truly exciting time to join their 20 strong team as they execute an ambitious growth plan aiming towards a place in the acclaimed AJ100 list of practices. The business also has an established London Studio allowing them to deliver various High Profile contemporary Projects across the whole of the UK, their current portfolio consists of Mixed Use Residential High Rises, Commercial Workplace Refurbishments, New Build Residential, Healthcare and Leisure projects.
They are now looking to bolster their technical team and require an experienced Senior level (5-10 years plus experience ideally) Architectural Technologist to assist in the successful delivery of various Commercial fit out & Care Homes projects, these are mainly office to residential conversion and refurbishments of existing workplace buildings and the care homes are of a new build nature. They are also very busy in more traditional Residential markets and have recently been given instruction to undertake various regeneration & development schemes.
This particular position is open to Senior level Architectural Technologists ideally spent within an architectural practice, with the capability to use REVIT/BIM to a high standard and be meticulous in their approach to technical detailing.
Responsibilities & skills required for the position include, but are not limited to:
– High attention to detail, particular in the production of Technical drawing packages.
– Thorough understanding of UK Building & Planning Regulations.
– A wealth of industry knowledge in various sectors, with particular impetus on the Residential & Commercial sectors.
– High proficiency in the applied use of some of the following: Revit, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
-Ability to work pro-actively and a can do attitude.
-Excellent client facing ability.
-Previous job running experience and the ability to lead projects from start – finish.
You will be joining a team of around 20 fellow industry professionals and will be based in a modern open plan studio based in the trendy and upcoming South Bank area of Leeds City centre. Our client also have an agile working policy which the majority of their staff benefit from, typically most work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant in the region of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package, flexible and remote working.
