A premium menswear brand renowned for its classic menswear collections is currently recruiting for a Senior Menswear Designer with strong multi-product Garment Tech and Product Development experience to join its growing creative team.
As a Senior Designer and Product Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing their menswear collection alongside the Creative Director. Leading fit meetings, creating and updating tech packs and fit comments, fabric and trim research, sample management, and providing technical specifications and grading. You will work closely with the Production Manager throughout the development process, managing the critical path and liaising with external suppliers and factories. You will be a valued member of the product team reporting directly to the Creative Director.
The ideal candidate must have previous menswear design, garment technology and product development experience working at a senior level for a premium, contemporary or luxury brand. You must have exceptional knowledge of creating tech packs, garment construction, pattern cutting, grading and approvals, with experience working closely with in-house designers, overseas factories and external suppliers. You must be excellent communicator (written & verbal) with strong presentation and I.T skills using Adobe InDesign & Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Excel and Google Drive.
