CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary :
We are looking to recruit CAD Technicians to do Planning work. If you have AutoCAD experience then we have a number of vacancies within a busy company near Halstead. You will carry out 2D drawings using AutoCAD to produce drawings and create detailed design packs. Due to the company location you will need your own transport.
Duties
Drawing 2D existing & proposed space plans
Support Senior and Lead Planners/Designers
Creating detailed design packs
Sending and receiving data electronically
Various other admin related duties, including creation of and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets
Skills & Experience
Some knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is preferred however further training can be given
Adobe Creative suite preferred but not essential
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills, A levels preferable
Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem-solving skills
Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges
Driving licence preferable

Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch
20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days with service
