Accounts Payable Team Leader, immediate permanent vacancy for an educational establishment based just outside Bath. Working 37 hours per week, this is a hybrid role, offering 60% working from home with an annualised salary of £28700 plus exceptional employee benefits.
Initially starting as a fixed term contract until February 2023, this role could well lead to a permanent post, giving you the opportunity to uitilise all of your proven Account Payables and Finance skills in this team leader position. With a minimum of 3 years previous, relevant experience gained working in a busy accounts/finance team, you will have a robust understanding using finance systems (Sage or similar), supervision of the account payables team, organising and scheduling work priorities, delivery of payment processing and payment of all incoming supplier invoices, managing purchasing cards and expense claims.
Ideally educated to AAT Level, with previous employment history obtained in an educational setting, or within local government is a distinct advantage for this position. This is a busy role and requires a candidate who can work well to policy and procure, assessing and ensuring that accounts information is managed efficiently and effectively, having a good attention to details, able to spot errors and adjust accordingly.
As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will have proven MS Office skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel and Access, enabling you to move between systems with accuracy, sharing outcomes with wider management teams, whilst ensuring your direct team work together with daily and weekly tasks. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written with the ability to manage others, coach and motivate whilst delivering high levels of work output in line with the organisational business objectives
