Excellent opportunity here for an Associate Architect to join a growing multi-disciplinary practice based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
The company are a multi-disciplinary practice focusing on Architecture, Structural & Civil Engineering, Surveying and Principle Design services. Spread across 3 offices throughout the UK, the company have secure roots throughout the UK, specialising in a broad range of sectors and project types.
The Kidderminster office now requires a fully qualified, Senior to Associate level Architect to join their regional team. This position would suit an Architect with approximately 5-10 years of post qualification experience, ideally within a private practice or multi-disciplinary environment. The most essential skills that the Architect applying for this role should be able to display is project running and team leading. As an Associate Architect, you will be running projects, leading small teams, being the main point of contact for clients and third parties, and being a pivotal part of the continued growth of the company.
Given the level of responsibility this role provides, the position would suit a Senior Architect or Associate Architect that is seeking the next step in their career. There are very real and realisable routes through to Associate Director and Director level. An Architect that also holds an interest in business development and winning their own projects/workload would also be looked on favourably, and this could see you making your path through to Associate Director level and beyond at a quick rate.
The practice operate in a wide and varied range of sectors and project types, but current workload is especially busy in; retail, public sector buildings, MOJ, residential, social housing and more. Other areas worked within typically include education, commercial and mixed use schemes. AutoCAD & Revit is used throughout, and while the role here as an Architect is project running and client facing, there will still be elements of "hands on" drawing work, so Revit proficiency would be ideal.
A summary of requirements for this Associate Architect role as follows:
Fully qualified Architect with UK recognised Part 1, 2 & 3 qualifications.
ARB registration, RIBA chartership (desirable)
Experience of project running, team leading, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
Sector experience can be varied, but areas such as; Residential, Retail and Commercial would be particularly beneficial.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit
Interest in developing business development skills.
In return, you will be offered a lucrative salary and benefits package that will be negotiable dependant on experience, but likely to be in the region of £50,000-£60,000.
