CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £28000/annum
Opportunity is around the corner at Pertemps in Lincoln! We have a brand-new position available for an experienced CAD Technician to join an already successful Lincoln based company. Our client is an expert in steel fabrication with over 45 years’ experience and are offering career progression, training opportunities and long-term secure employment.
The position is based 12 miles from the city centre and so having your own form of transport needed.
This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same, but you will be offered training and support where needed.
As a CAD Technician you will be required to –
Support the sales team and provide excellent customer service by producing a variety of drawings, including approval drawings and manufacturing drawings
Support product design and development
Liaise with Customers, Sales, and Production Departments
Assist in the management of the supply chain
Salary: £24,000 to £28,000+ p/a (DOE) – more
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, (flexible working hours available)
The successful candidate will have:
Solid background and experience in producing approval and manufacturing drawings and liaising with sales and production teams
Some electronics and/or computer programming experience
A Working knowledge of modern manufacturing processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to multitask and work to changing priorities
A background within a mechanical and/or fabrication environment and have experience of various manufacturing techniques (desired)
Experience in dimensional and quality inspection (desired)
