Marketing Manager

Meridian Recruitment are working with a well established company in Andover who are looking for someone to join there Marketing team. The team goal is to deliver an integrated marketing approach. This wide-ranging role will have exposure to all areas and levels of the business, offering excellent career growth opportunities. Suitable candidates should have strong communication skills to effectively interact with the senior management team, sales, engineering & customer service.
Main Duties:
Work closely with the digital marketing lead to create and publish effective content.
Maintain and update online catalogue via management of the website CMS.
Lead development and execution of the social media marketing strategy to align with business goals.
Overall ownership of email marketing campaigns.
Work with the sales team to identify marketing support materials of benefit.
Maintain suite of advertising banners for display marketing platforms.
Contribute to end-to-end campaigns that focus on seasonal promotions and product launches.
Ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels including email, social, web & print.

Excellent copy writing ability
Good time management and organisational skills
Good commercial awareness
High attention to detail, with ability to thrive in a fast pace and dynamic team.
Analytical reporting skills
Knowledge of the MS 365 suite of products
Excellent understanding of social media platforms and digital media outlets
Previous use of content management systems, WordPress experience ideal
Interest in graphic design; Canva, Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator experience preferred
Experience with email marketing platforms
Understanding of SEO best practices
A Keen eye for visual design and photography/videography skills are desired
Experience in using tracking and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
Experience in a B2C marketing role preferable
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field would be preferableThis role would be office based in Andover.
Monday to Friday 8:30-17:30 with one hour lunch
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
