Design and artwork manager
My client is a creative production house completing design projects for brands. They have a growing team of designers – from creatives to printers – and manage all aspects of high-end projects such as window displays, store interiors, bespoke furniture etc.
As these projects have grown in scale and number, they now have an opportunity in our design team for a design and artwork manager to join them!

Pension planThe perfect Design and artwork manager will have experience in:
From a client or team brief, to undertake and complete creative projects advising on artwork and artwork-to-production, including consulting, creative direction, identifying project outcomes, communicating milestones, and budgets, resourcing internal project team and freelance support to clients and internal team;
Undertake artwork, Prep files accurately for print and production;
Manage and report on all relevant project costs to the finance department in order to raise sales invoices and achieve financial targets;
Work in a continuous improvement manner, advising the Board of Directors of innovations and enhancements
Develop all aspects of in-house design and artwork service and oversight role on all artwork and print production
Develop, support, manage and mentor all creative team, engaging with freelancers where necessary and resourcing additional staff to fulfil specific projects;
Implementation of systems and processes to improve ways of working efficiently and to budget, leading towards Creative Services being a viable and measurable profit centre
Skills Required for the design and artwork manager:
Demonstrable organisational & communication skills as a Design and artwork manager
Microsoft Excel to high proficiency.
Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop intermediate level or more.
Driving Licence.Salary: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year DOE
