Fine Art Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £28000/annum
Our client, who specialise in Fine Art are currently seeking a Fine Art Technician for their team based in Gloucestershire.
As the Fine Art Technician, you will be handling and installing artwork for both private and in-house clients throughout the UK and overseas.
Other duties:
Working on exhibitions and projects
Communicating with operations team throughout the day
General care of i.e. artwork, fabrication, framing
Inspecting artworks to determine how, where, when, or if to touch them
General ad-hoc tasks
The successful Fine Art Technician will be familiar with basic art terminology, can confidently drive a Luton sizes van, forklift truck and have an IPAF license.
Skills/requirements of the Fine Art Technician:
Good IT knowledge – including MS Office, Photoshop. InDesign and Illustrator
Excellent communication skills
Clean and full driving license
Able to operate a wide range of machinery and tools confidently
