Zynk is an interior architecture practice that specialises in the field of Health and Fitness and Spa design across all sectors of the market. Headquartered in Ascot, Berkshire with a global client reach, we have built a reputation in the health and wellness design industry for exceeding the expectations of our clients for over 20 years.
Our work spans gyms, health clubs, hotels, spas, leisure centres, residential lesiure and corporate fitness.
Your place on the team:
Due to new project wins, we are looking for highly-creative and experienced mid / senior Interior Architects/Designers and Interior Architectural Technicians (or Unicorns who can do both 🙂 ) to join the practice.
You will join a talented team in the delivery of cutting-edge health and fitness and wellness projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Accountabilities of the role include:
+ Development of creative concepts, mood boards, preliminary and final designs
+ Produce presentations
+ Produce detail space plans
+ Developing detailed designs and materials specifications
+ Produce detailed CAD drawing packages of GA plans, Finishes plans and RCPs, lighting and bespoke joinery details
+ Produce product specification documents
+ Client, contractor and supplier liaison
+ Overseeing site meetings with contractors and clients
About You:
You will have a degree in interior architecture, interior design or similar, with a minimum of five years professional experience in a similar role and experience in all stages of the design process from concept to completion across a range of project scales.
Experience in retail, hospitality and leisure markets is required. Health and fitness and spa sector experience preferred but NOT essential.
You will have a sophisticated and contemporary design language that can be conveyed through visualisation and drawing skills, both computer aided and freehand.
Tech Skills: Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp. Good knowledge of UK building regulations.
