CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £27000 – £29000/annum
CAD Technician – Wisbech, Cambs. – Excellent package
A CAD Technician is required for our Wisbech client. The company is a major manufacturer of high-end home accessories. The role will provide support on all work associated with custom designs, technical drawings, cutting lists and CNC software.
Duties and Responsibilities
To prepare all technical drawings as required for production purposes using AutoCAD and Alphacam.
To support production with detailed drawings for manufacture via a CNC machine.
To liaise with admin staff and to check that all works orders have been properly specified.
To liaise with showroom designers with technical checks and queries.
To prepare ‘cutting lists’ for manufacturing daily.
To provide costings on bespoke products.
To assist with Company projects when requested.
Develop a culture of exceeding customer’s expectations.
