How You'll Help Us Succeed:

* Lead design for the whole digital product experience, from conceptual design to launch. This includes: driving the future vision of this area, and making sure it compliments a cohesive overall MEATER experience.

* Partner closely with your peers in leadership within product, engineering and marketing, to define a strategic vision for what and how we build to solve user problems.

* Lead designers through best practices to ensure business impact.

* Help designers to define their career paths, identify opportunities to do the best work of their lives.

* Hire and develop more designers as we grow even more.

What You'll Need To thrive:

* You have exceptional communication skills and know how to work with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

* You understand how a product is built and how design can make an impact in a multi-disciplinary environment.

* You inspire and motivate people to do their best work fully aligned with business goals.

* You care about design all the way from a strategic level down to getting the pixels right.

* You strive to make an impact across the company.

This isn't for you if:

* You prefer working on defined product space with narrow use cases: the opportunities in this role are complex and you’ll need to make sense of them, prioritise often, and drive changes when necessary.

* You only work comfortably with top-down directions: you'll collaborate with leadership and other teams, but it’ll largely be up to you to decide how to divide and conquer challenges with your team.
