Our client, a rapidly growing B2B business that are looking to support their creative team with the addition of a Midweight Graphic Designer to help fuel expansion.

The Company

For their chosen industry, our client is the number one supplier in the UK to major blue-chip retailers. They are looking for a Graphic Designer who has a well-rounded understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite who can integrate well into the existing design team. Participating in various design projects from concept to completion. Producing drafts, prototypes and engaging design solutions. Listening to feedback to hone skills and improve design whilst following and updating the IMS-08 design procedure.

The Graphic Designer Role and Responsibilities:

*Working to specified Branding Guidelines.
*Assisting in daily tasks within the creative department.
*Creating artwork, photography, image files and customer offers.
*Product Photography for marketing purposes.
*Follow the IMS-08 Design Procedure & work to IMS08-RD-001 project specifications.
*Collaborate with design team members on project management software*. (In development).
*Log time for KPI reports.
*Generate print-ready files in adobe creative apps.
*Follow branding and company tone of voice guidelines.
*Creative writing for products.
*Editing images for artwork and marketing purposes.
*Photography opportunities.
*Product trials for photography and marketing purposes.
*Creating mock up products digitally and physically for presentations.
*Opportunities to create animations and videos.
*Attending and actively participating in creative team meetings.
*Support the Creative Manager where required with Exhibition planning.
*Report any compliance issues that come to your attention during the design process to the Creative Manager.
*Meeting with clients or executives to discuss their requirements and vision.
*Brainstorming with a creative team to develop ideas for campaigns and projects.
*Pitching concepts to clients or directors by means of innovative presentations.
*Constantly liaising with clients during a project regarding progress, issues and changes.
*Ensuring that projects are completed within time, scope and budget and in accordance with stakeholders' expectations.

The Graphic Designer Candidate:

The ideal Midweight Designer should have an instinct for what looks appealing to the eye, whilst remaining practical, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an interest in plants and gardening.

*Bachelor's or BSc degree or equivalent in related area of study.
*3+ years of combined professional experience as a Junior Designer a creative production environment.
*Proven ability to produce materials from concept to completion.
*Adobe design software: InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/XD.
*Task and project management experience.
*Familiarity with ISO Tracker system.
*File system management experience, the ability to save files in a logical hierarchy so other team members can find them.
*Familiarity with using FTP and hosting files for download.
