The Planning Team are experienced in large-scale renewable energy and small-to-medium residential projects. However, they hold aspirations to attract large-scale residential and urban design mixed-use projects for local developers, national housebuilders, and local government frameworks.
We are looking to recruit a highly knowledgeable and ambitious Chartered Town Planner to step into the role of Major Development / Strategic Planning Director with the task of attracting and overseeing large-scale strategic housing and mixed-use developments from initial consultation through to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for determining planning strategies, hosting pre-application discussions, and carrying out site appraisals. You will also oversee the coordination and compilation of robust planning applications, and the subsequent management of the application during determination.
In addition to day-to-day duties, the role also requires the individual to support and grow the business to improve processes and approach new potential clientele.
Any Chartered Town Planners that would like to be considered for this fantastic opportunity will need the following key skills:
10 years' experience in the planning system
Chartered Membership of the RTPI, or working towards the same
5 years' experience in project management
A passion for planning policy and the role it plays in society
