Product Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £42000/annum
Currently we are supporting a fast-growing studio based in London, they are looking for an experienced Product Designer to work alongside the internationally renowned Creative Director to curate a collection of luxury lighting and furniture.
This opportunity will be a fantastic next step for someone who holds 3/5 years' experience within an interior/architecture environment.
As the Product Designer, you will be responsible for:
Designing new collection items.
Producing variations of designs quickly, dynamically and with amble creativity.
Producing quick sketch designs in 3D and mock visuals in Keyshot.
Ready models for visualisation by 3D render team.
Producing models and maquettes.
Providing full information and spec packs for designs.
Research and development of new and current products.
Producing exact technical drawings for production liaising.
Continuously review and help improve quality, cost and product performance.Looking for someone to hit the ground running, you will already be an expert with Rhino, Auto CAD, Adobe Suite, Keyshot, Excel, Word, Solidworks & Grasshopper.
In addition to this, the Product Designer will hold:
Knowledge of luxury furniture and ideally lighting.
Advanced 3D modelling skills (preferably in Rhino),
Design drafting skills to produce variations of existing designs.
Excellent understanding of material properties.
Innate eye for detail, proactive trouble shooting, ambition for excellence.
Experience in briefing workshops and communicating with production facilities.
