Architectural Design Manager

Salary : £55000 – £70000/annum Car allowance
Architectural Design Manager required to join a Design & Construction specialist consultancy in Manchester.
Our client are a market leader and high reputable name in the Pharmaceutical sector. Their project work typically encompasses Laboratories, Cleanrooms and Food & beverage facilities. They are looking for an experienced Design Manager to support and oversee their existing Architectural team through the Design and development of large-scale projects within these sectors as they enter a particularly busy period over the coming year/18 months and beyond.
The role of Architectural Design Manager will involve the following:
*Managing and overseeing design production of various new-build and refurbishment projects.
*Preparing and developing drawings to brief the design team.
*Leading bid proposals and feasibility studies.
*Maintaining client relationships with a view to long-term client partnership and future relationships development.
*Leading design-team meetings
*Controlling resourcing and costs during pre-construction stage plus maintaining budgeting during construction on-site.
We are looking for the Architectural Design Manager to meet the following criteria:
*5+ years working experience in an Architecturally focused role.
*Ability to manage and oversee a design team.
A detailed, thorough understanding of design issues (Specifically related to Laboratories and Cleanroom facilities).
*Proficiency in AutoCAD & REVIT.
*Excellent organisation and communication skills.
*A good understanding of MEP principles.
