Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced womenswear designer to join a leading online women’s fast fashion brand to support the current design team in the design and product development of women’s woven products.

The Candidate;

* Previous experience in designing women’s fashion
* Degree in Fashion Design
* CAD, photoshop & adobe illustrator experience
* Strong technical skills – creating very detailed tech packs
* Experience working with stretch fabric is essential
* Experience in print design
* Knowledge of garment construction and pattern cutting
* Experience in lingerie or sportswear is a bonus
* Tenacity to get the job done and determined to succeed
* Excellent communication skills
* The confidence to put forward new and creative ideas
* Flexibility to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
* Excellent presentation skills

Duties and Responsibilities;

* Tech packing with a quick turnaround for tight deadlines
* Researching current and future trends
* Monitoring competitors and highlighting potential new products
* Assisting with design development of multi-products
* Assisting the design team with all administration
* Design and present CADs in line with brands identity providing a sense of detail , colour and trend awareness
* Research and creating mood boards to illustrate direction, colour and trends
* Design file management
* Assist in fittings, taking notes and updating technical sketches
