CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000/annum
£30,000 ** Must have a full, clean drivers license ** Onsite parking **
Our client is based in Cobham and specialise in prefabricated single high-end dwellings.
Job Description:
* Pricing drawings, Preliminary drawings to construction drawings
* Familiar with reinforcement drawings, concrete works, drainage, setting out
* Liaison with house manufacturer, QS, Client
* 3D modelling for quote presentations
* Presenting 3D modelling as part of quote presentations to the client or other stake holders
* Ensuring all up to date drawings are downloaded and saved from relevant parties involved
* Incorporating and circulating changes
* Establish Quantities for purchasing
* Assist Site Team with any queries they have related to the drawings
* Flag any changes to the site team
* Log weekly workload / updates for Team Meeting input
* Carry out site visits when required
* Confident to learn (or already has experience) in setting out (we own a LEICA)
Person Specification:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Experience using AUTOCAD is essential
* Good knowledge of MS office suite
* Archicad or Autocad or Civils
* 3D Modelling not a must but a nice to have
* Experience in landscape designs not a must but a nice to have
* Clean Class B driving licence
* Dynamic with good attention to detail
* Versatile and organised
* Methodical and thorough approach to work
* Confident communicator
* Personable team player
