Supply & Demand Planner
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £27500/annum
Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to have partnered with a international beauty brand in recruiting a supply and demand planner. In this newly created role you will support the senior manager with;
Managing the intake plan for the categories and sharing with the Senior Demand Planner
Weekly meetings with the Senior Demand Planner to understand changes to forecast, category or ranging and providing relevant insight into KPIs and supplier performance
Ownership of budgets ensuring spend is within the financial parameters agreed
Pro-actively work with suppliers to minimise planned impacts on future supply
Allocations raised for all stores/channels within your category
New lines – working cross functionally to ensure allocations/reservations are available and in line with live dates
Range Reviews. Working cross functionally to ensure allocations/ reservations are raised and new lines are live in store on time
Working out optimum replen levels on outgoing lines to ensure a clean cut off
Investigate and analyse why store orders may have been cut, escalating this within the wider Supply Chain team so that the necessary preventative actions are in place moving forwardSkills & Experience
An interest in beauty/fashion
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
A minimum of 1 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
