Assistant Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £26000/annum
High growth fashion business are seeking to add a junior assistant accountant to their finance team located in Salford.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will sit beneath the Management Accountant and will be responsible for a multitude of transactional Finance tasks as well as some month-end responsibilities. You will also be responsible for supporting the wider finance function as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders within the business.
Your responsibilities include:
* Processing invoices/raising payments
* Allocating payments and ensure invoices are coded
* Query resolution and escalations
* Bank/statement reconciliations
* Month end accounts
* Journal posting
* Reviewing and updating cash flow
* Liaising with internal/external stakeholders
* Ad hoc finance projects
To be considered for this role:
* 2 years previous experience working within a finance function is essential
* Great knowledge of MS Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
