Senior UI Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £60000 – £65000/annum 18% bonus, Car Allowance, Healthcare
A Senior UI Designer is required to join a team of UX and UI Designers in central London, picking up towards the tail-end of a major re-platforming project and handling multiple mid-weight design projects in a lively, non-stop environment.
This role will take ownership of the company's UI Kit, extending and refining well defined brand guidelines across a range of media and interactive tools.
You'll join a strong team of UX and UI Designers, digesting UX mock-ups into visual designs and communicating these to the web and software engineering teams.
As a Senior level role, you will engage with stakeholders and senior staff to drive projects forward. You'll have a real voice across the design team, with all members encouraged to critique and interact with disciplines outside of your immediate remit.
Requirements:
Experience to a senior level within responsive, digital User Interface design
Strong communication skills, able to gather requirements, present design and critique work across UI and UX creations
Experience with design software, they're using Figma and Adobe CC
Skills in typography and intuitive design
Experience within a high demand environment, or with enterprise projects on a 6 month – 2 year scale
Experience in accessibility, they're adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA
Advantage to have illustrative skills, though not essential
On-site 1 day per week, must be based within a commutable distance of London
