CAD Technician Job in London
New requirement for a CAD Technician job with a workplace/commercial architectural and design firm in Central London, close to Kings Cross Station. The practice is well-established and has a strong pipeline of work coming through. They're seeking an experienced CAD Technician who can assist with a variety of technical packages across the design life cycle.
The practice has a team of interior designers and technical staff that work on projects across London, typically workplace projects up to 80,000sqft. The ideal candidate will have experience from a commercial design firm with a proven track record of creating complete technical packages and joinery details. Currently, the firm is AutoCAD-based but will be looking to transition over to Revit in the coming years, so experience with Revit is also highly desirable.
Role & Responsibilities
Produce technical drawings in AutoCAD
Creation of bespoke joinery packages
Ensure accuracy of technical drawings and specifications
Site visits.Required Skills & Experience
Ideally, degree qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar
3+ years experience in workplace/commercial design
Highly proficient in AutoCAD
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is a bonus.What you get back
