Konker is recruiting for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join one of Birmingham’s most successful, independent-run RIBA practice.
Based in an iconic area in Birmingham City Centre, this RIBA practice is looking to grow its architectural team further with several appointments.
They work in both public and private sectors with a vast selection of clients built up over many years of working together with them.
Within this RIBA practice is 40 staff of different skill sets and experience who are allowed to express their design creativity and flair, with no set design standards in place.
As a practice, they work on different projects including Energy/Recycle, Workplace, Education, Conservation, Leisure, Residential, Masterplanning & many more.
The position as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant will see you mentored and supported with your Part 3. They are well known for being successful in supporting Part 3’s to become an Architect, with personal development being an important part of the practice values.
You will also be producing working drawings, working with contractors, preparing design proposals, planning applications, and feasibility studies. You will gain experience working across different RIBA Stages on different projects.
