Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum

An Interior Designer job is now available with a multidisciplinary practice based in North London. The role will involve working on commercial, hospitality and residential projects and offers the opportunity to work on large scale retail schemes. The successful candidate will be a proactive designer with the ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once.

Established in 2008, this multi-disciplinary practice has a vibrant team of architectural and interior design staff. They are a medium-sized practice predominantly specialising in the commercial, hospitality and residential sectors, working both on refurbishment and new build projects, for a selection of private clients in the UK and worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities

– Working on projects from start through to completion

– Producing design schemes and putting together presentations

– Liaising with and presenting to clients

– Working on all stages of FF&E including concept design, bespoke furniture and joinery, specifications (soft and hard finishes) and schedules

– Working/assisting on drawing packages including space planning, elevations and joinery design

– Project and site coordination

– Collaborating with architects and other team members when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

– 2+ years' working on large scale commercial, hospitality and/or residential projects

– Proven experience working on projects from concept through completion and across all RIBA stages

– FF&E experience

– Good interior architecture / technical design experience and the ability to produce and comment on drawing packs and detailed drawings

– Ability to work individually and as part of a team

– Experienced in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite. Revit would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided

– Strong presentation and communication skills.
