Merchandiser

An experienced Merchandiser is required to join a modern, forward thinking fashion business in North London. I am looking for a driven and dynamic candidate with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail. As a Merchandiser you will work closely with the production and technical teams, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are followed through correctly.

Merchandiser – The role
* Liaising with the production team on a daily basis, you will report to the Head of Production
* Responsible for managing your own accounts
* Inputting orders into online systems and ensuring the critical path is up to date and maintained
* Daily communication with the garment technologists, ensuring all samples are processed and prepared
* Working closely with the garment technologists, account managers and designer
* Oversee production issues, helping to problem solve
* Communicating with the factories overseas
* Responsible for checking lab dips, bulk fabrics, and labels, dealing with any issues efficiently
* Chase shipping documents, manage approvals and ensure factories are on time
Merchandiser – The Skills
* Able to communicate clearly (written and verbal)
* Organised with excellent attention to detail
* Proactive and efficient
* Sociable and positive
* 3+ years experience in a similar role
* A passion for product
* Used to working in fast paced environments
* Good knowledge of fabrics and trims
