The business is growing rapidly boasting a turnover of £11 million and due to their quality of service they are continuously winning larger value projects which is driving their growth.
This fantastic opportunity for the right CAD Technician to join dynamic design team and a business that has a fun, rewarding and relaxed culture. Due to the business growth there are clear routes for progression with prospects to develop into Design and Project Management roles within your first couple of years in the business.
With projects ranging up to 1 million in value and with increasing orders the business has seen a steep growth in a short space of time therefore having the need to expand their design team. As a result they are looking for a CAD Technician to join the team with immediate effect. They are looking for someone who has a manufacturing or site installation type design background who has some grounding with Autodesk Inventor. Please apply online for speedy consideration.
The Role
As a CAD Technician (Autodesk Inventor) you will provide be involved in projects from initial kick of meeting through to designs being ready for site installation working as part of the in-house CAD team.
Key responsibilities for a CAD Technician will be:
To Create a 3D layout plans in Autodesk Inventor
To build up the 3D model for the facility in Autodesk Inventor
To produce the cut through and sectional view drawings
To take feedback from Project Managers to amend the site layout drawings as projects progress.
To produce the manufacturing drawings for the fabrication and joinery shop
To Produce the 2D assembly drawings for the installation team to build the facility at site.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this CAD Technician (Autodesk Inventor) role you will need:
Exposure to Autodesk Inventor
Experience in a CAD Technician or Design role.
A hunger to learn and develop new skills
The ability to be a team player and be accountable
To want to work in a fun and rewarding culture.
