Architectural Technologist – Developer

Salary : £35000/annum
Architectural Technologist required to join a pioneering net zero developer based in their purpose-built office near Leeds Dock just on the outskirts of the city centre.

Your mission as Architectural Technologist will be to lead the delivery of project information and be responsible for the preparation of project information and co-ordination of internal designers, external designers, and the overall design and sustainable outcome of projects

Roles & Responsibilities of the Architectural Technologist.
*Deliver Stages 1 to 4 architectural packages to Design Office Programme.
*Managing & producing hand sketches, Revit modelling and specification for all work stages
*To act as the day-to-day contact/interface for projects
*To assist in carrying out projects reviews at required stages
*To manage the work of others assisting with the projects
*To assist in formal project presentations
*To be flexible and committed to the needs of the company, team and project
In addition..
An advocate of sustainable and technical building design and placemaking
Good knowledge of design output requirements across RIBA stages 0-7
Ability to communicate with manufacturing engineers to achieve vison set down
Ability to clearly communicate to the team to establish and maintain the design vision and strategic briefs.
Ability to put across to the team in a positive manner any blockages that need be overcome to deliver a project.
Strong project leadership skills
Excellent ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external parties and key stakeholders, both verbally and visually
Ability to empower and upskill others within the team
Exemplar ability to commit and work to a plan, prioritising appropriately to deliver on promises
Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion
Required Experience & Qualifications of the Architectural Technologist
A degree qualified Architectural Technologist with at least 3 years of experience in Architectural Practice.
Proficient in Revit (ideally 3+ years in practice) and ability to learn new software as and when required
Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and management of building control approvals and compliance.
Hours and environment
Our client operate a flexible working policy for this role where it is expected that everyone meets or exceeds their objectives, but they aren't prescriptive about times or days worked as long as the results are being achieved.
Suitable candidates will be welcomed into a new purpose built new office near Leeds Dock giving a great place for collaborative working, which was designed and built by our client.
Salary £35,000 + Unlimited capped holidays, quarterly performance bonus, 3% pensions.
