Head Hunted Recruitment are working exclusively with an award winning business who are one of the largest in their sector and boasting a strong market presence, the company are in the process of hiring an experienced Graphic Designer to join their developing creative team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative Graphic Designer to join our in-house design team, working across packaging and marketing design. You will have a passion for the latest creative techniques and trends to interpret our brand needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. Working alongside Senior Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer to give maximum sales potential in stores and online.
Specific Job Responsibilities within the design team:
Packaging
* Design creative concepts for all branding projects, produce print ready artwork for packaging
* Supply print ready artwork to suppliers and check printer’s proof
* Work alongside internal & external designers for artwork creation
* Update packaging artworks with rolling changes as required
* Keep track of artwork versions and keep up to date libraries of artwork & image files
* Mockup packaging samples for proofing and trade shows when required
* Input ideas for new product development with the design team
Marketing
* Design static web banners, graphic elements for use in e-shot newsletters
* Design artwork for Amazon brand stores and A+ content
* Support with trade catalogue design including page planning, content, design, and proofing
* Support the sales team in the creation of customer sales presentations and imagery requests
* Assist with image and file management
* Assist on product and lifestyle photoshoots
* Input ideas into marketing campaigns
* Produce eye catching POS designs
Graphic Designer Relevant Skills and Experience:
* Software skills: Adobe creative suite (Design packages), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word & Excel)
* Website knowledge: Magento (preferred not essential)
* Naturally creative, innovative and self-motivated
* Excellent communications skills with both work colleagues and external customers
* Good planning, time and file management, multi-tasking and project management skills
* Excellent attention to detail, delivered on time
Graphic Designer Experience:
* Formal qualifications in graphic design or similar
* 3-5 years’ industry experience
* A design portfolio is required to apply for this role
This is an office based position and comes with an excellent salary of £26K – £30K per annum DOE.
