Harlequin Group (which is a subsidiary of Telent Technology Services) are currently looking for a Mobile / Telecoms focused CAD Technician to join their Wireless team within the Networks Services business – this is an office based role, located in Livingston, Scotland.

This CAD Technician role will see you supporting and producing CAD design drawings for key design & build projects within the Mobile and Telecommunications industry. You will be collaborating with various teams within Harlequin Group and Telent to ensure that the designs meets the clients specifications.

CAD Technician – What you'll do:

Produce clear and accurate general arrangement CAD design drawings.
Detailed and comprehensive construction drawings / fabrication drawings.
Designs that accurately reflect engineering solutions.
Drawings of the highest standard to ensure customer satisfaction.
Read / interpret client design specifications.
Providing solutions to any technical problems using CAD and customers specifications.
Prepare CAD drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT.
Produce design drawings based on survey information provided by surveyors.
Completing both new site design drawings and / or upgrading existing design drawings to be in line with client design requirements.
Quality check and finalising drawings produced externally for compliance with client design requirements.
Attending site on occasions to carry out surveys (dimensional) or client review meetings if required.
Production of standard details and template drawings as part of a library of details / drawings.
Liaise between Acquisition, Planning, Design & Build teams including Admin though various Harlequin Group offices.CAD Technician – Key requirements:

Essential to have experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT or a similar software.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and organised.
Willingness to learn and develop skills.
Experience in a relevant industry sector (eg. Telecoms, Mobile, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Construction, Commercial Property, Real Estate)
Preferable to have a Design related or Civil Engineering qualification.Telent-Harlequin – What we offer:
