Brain Tumour Research is an ambitious charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of dedicated Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence around the UK and challenging the Government and larger cancer charities to increase the national investment for research into brain tumours to £35 million a year and bring parity with other cancers.

Our vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. Our mission is to increase the UK investment in brain tumour research.

Brain Tumour Research is looking for an Assistant Graphic Designer/ Artworker to support the marketing team, delivering on a range of brand design assets for both print and digital marketing.

Position: Assistant Graphic Designer
Location: Milton Keynes, MK5
Salary: Circa £21,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Flexible, hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home two days a week, holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, option to join our healthcare scheme.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK.

As the Assistant Graphic Designer / Artworker, you will assist the Marketing Manager, as well as working with lead designers at our creative agency, to help deliver the design requirements for various projects, often working within the pre-defined brand identity of specific marketing campaigns, whilst adhering to the master brand guide for the charity.

Support design projects to ensure all internal stakeholders are informed and engaged, and sign off process is followed consistently, and all issues are communicated to the line manager in order to identify solutions.

Do you have:

* Excellent graphic design skills, with a desire to deliver creative and exciting work

* An understanding of using brand within design

* A good command of the English language with strong communication skills

* A high level of empathy for our cause

* Experience in working in marketing, videography and for a charity would be beneficial
