We’re working with an independent design company that are seeking a highly, skilled 3D Designer to take their creative projects to the next step.
 
The role of the 3D Designer is to create designs for the new products and features, and to find innovative ways to solve design problems. They’re looking for the right candidate to be very detailed-oriented by following a process and identifying slight mistakes that can result in the products that do not look or work the way it’s supposed to.
 
In order to create 3D designs that are accurate and realistic, the right Designer must have a strong technical background and be proficient in 3D rendering software but also have excellent communication skills when working with stakeholders of the business and clients.
 
It’s important to be able to convey and understand the ideas of others to produce high-quality designs collaboratively.

Also, you’ll be working in the studio at least 3 days a week and hybrid opportunities will be available.
 
Responsibilities

Work with the design team to design & create 3D models of products, characters, environments, and other assets.
Communicating with project managers, clients, or other team members to clarify details about projects
Developing designs using computer software programs such as Maya, 3ds Max, or AutoCAD
Creating models of buildings, landscapes, or other structures by studying drawings and other reference materials.
Preparing sketches or drawings of proposed designs to be used as guides for creating a final model.
Reviewing design plans to ensure that they are structurally sound.
Using computer software to create 3D models of physical objects such as buildings, landscapes, vehicles, machinery, and other items.
Generate creative ideas and solutions within the constraints of time, budget, and client expectations
Use industry-standard software packages to model, texture, light, and render 3D assets
Stay up-to-date on the latest software releases and trends in the industry
Understand the technical limitations of the medium and how to work within those constraints
Balance artistic expression with efficient workflow and production demands
Take direction well and be able to incorporate feedback into revisions
Be able to work independently and take initiative when needed
Be organized and have strong attention to detail
Be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Have excellent communication skills 
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
3+ years’ experience (academic and professional) with design software.
Proven experience with 3D design & modelling, with a strong portfolio of work
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

Proficient with Vectorworks CAD Software (VWX) / Remit / BIM / 3D
Competent with 3D Visualisation software.
