Conrad Consulting are exclusively representing a new opportunity for an Architectural Designer to join a Property Developer as part of their Manchester team.

As an Architect or Architectural Assistant, have you ever thought about moving away from the world of Traditional Architectural practice? We are presenting an exceptional opportunity to do-so and join a nationally renowned developer to develop and to enhance your experience working within a different side of the Architectural industry.

Their work primarily falls within the Residential sector. This includes BTR schemes, Student Residential and similar building typologies. They are ideally looking for this new hire to have experience working on similar projects and to support the existing Architectural/Design team in the creation and development of such projects to meet the high standards of the company.

The Architectural Designer that fills this role could be a qualified Architect with up to 1 or 2 years post-qualification experience or an Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part 2) with a minimum of 1-years practical experience.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:

* Supporting the Architectural team and Design Director on the development of Residential projects and of the design brand and ethos of the company.

* Frequently visit site to review design proposals and to survey/photograph and to review the progress of projects whilst liaising with the wider team of in-house and external construction processionals.

* Coordinating with external suppliers to identify appropriate products and specifications to be implemented into the projects.

* Creating and developing digital information (2D & 3D) for review by the design team.

* Coordinating with land acquisition teams to identify suitable sites and development opportunities.

Key criteria we are looking for as an Architectural Designer include:

* Degree qualified to RIBA Part 2 as a minimum. ARB/RIBA Architects will be considered too.

* Proficiency using AutoCAD, Sketchup, InDesign & Adobe Suite + Word & Excel.

* Ability to work well as part of a design team.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, presentation.

* Clean, UK Driving licence with access to a car.
