PIPING CONSULTANT – LNG

Salary : £NEG Inside IR35
A Piping Engineering Consultant is required as part of a new LNG expert group being established in Basingstoke, UK to support the expansion in new LNG projects. Supporting review and monitoring of currently ongoing EPC projects for new floating LNG facilities and/or offshore platforms, defining and developing Layouts and Piping design.
The candidate's responsibilities will include the following:
* Define the Piping list of activities, list of deliverables, time schedule and controls activities in accordance with Contract requirements.
* Coordinates and controls piping engineering subcontracted activities &
* Undertake and provide expert guidance to piping design and layout activities.
Candidate must be highly experienced in Piping design and layout for complex projects. Significant experience of design within a LNG facility would be a major advantage for this position. Advanced experience of 3D modelling is required. Proven ability to perform and coordinate the study of piping routing & activities (plot plan, P&ID's mechanization, modularization studies, expertise in piping classes, line list and tie-in list, Material take-off) is very important.
