Job Title: Large Format Print Operator & Finisher
Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £28k
A well established and leading producer of large format digital print services are looking to recruit an experienced large format digital printer operator to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for producing high quality large format digital prints using a variety of machines and substrates. Previous experience is essential and you will ideally currently be working in a similar role.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervise and train a junior print operator.
Setting up, operating and laminating a variety of large format digital printers
Progressing jobs through RIP software and outputting to digital printers
Quality checking all work ensuring it is output to the highest standard
Liaising with the finishing department, QC work then pass to them to meet deadlines
Routine maintenance of machinery
You will have:
A strong background as an experienced large format, ideally of operating an Arizona Oce printer
Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application
Zund cutting experience is esesential
Good organisational skills and proven leader
Ability to train and supervise a junior print operator
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility for working hours, working overtime at short notice if needed
