Salary : £30000 – £37000/annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join a well-renowned Architectural firm at their office in Chelmsford.
This well-established company has managed to forge a fantastic reputation for delivering on new-build, conversion and conservation projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, retirement and healthcare. Their team of Architectural Designers and Technicians work closely together on a range of projects at both planning and working drawing stages and are experts in ensuring a smooth transition from conceptual design, through the planning process and into construction.
Due to consistent success in project delivery, this firm now require an Architectural Technician to become a part of a close-knit team that always ensures their proposals are designed with creative flair, underpinned with technical proficiency.
The position on offer will be concentrating upon a variety of Residential schemes and so we are looking for Architectural Technicians who can clearly demonstrate experience within this sector. You will need to be highly proficient with the usage of AutoCAD and have an in-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
The successful Architectural Technician will gain exposure to notable projects across the country whilst simultaneously receiving all the support needed to really develop your career.
Architectural Technician Requirements:
Degree/HNC/ONC or equivalent architectural qualification
Demonstrable experience working on the technical side of working drawings
Experience within Residential sector
AutoCAD proficiency to a high standard
Proficiency with Revit, Photoshop & InDesign would be desirable
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Excellent written and communication skills
A highly competitive salary is on offer to the successful Architectural Technician, likely to be in the region of £30-£37k, fully dependant on experience.
