What's the role about?

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of designers, product owners, engineers, business analysts and others to identify and tackle meaningful problems for customers.

As part of our Design team, we want you to be responsible for injecting empathy & creativity into the work, ensuring the team has customer focus through everything they do.

You'll be integral in helping to translate our team's vision of Designing for Prosperity into tangible outcomes for people.

What will I be doing?

Inject the brand essence, the brand Visual Identity and the Design Language patterns into all products, creating a streamlined experience across all touch points.

Define the visual treatments, aligning with brand requirements, best practises, accessibility and vulnerability guidance

Simplify and refine style guides and customer-centric visual design standards / systems

Advise on tools and methods to be used across specific elements of visual design

Collaborate with all team members to champion and facilitate high quality visual design focus

Conceptualise and produce high quality and detailed visual design assets that are consistent with the brief and the brand

You can help us design for prosperity with your ability to:

Deliver pixel perfect solutions

Use data & insights to develop designs

Use Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision and Figma proficiently

Communicate effectively with team members of different background & levels to get agreement

Work autonomously & in larger teams, often in a fast-paced environment (e.g. Agile & Design sprints…)

Use design thinking principles to define better problems & creative solutions

You're a good fit if you have…

Extensive experience in digital design, working in agile environments
A profound understanding of branding, layout, composition, typography, illustration etc
A well-presented design portfolio
An inquisitive mind and desire to inject creativity and phenomenal design thinking into financial products
Prototyping and animation knowledge (it's a plus, not a requirement)
