Landscape Architect / Associate

Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum
A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Landscape Architect with Associate and financial equity aspirations to join a well-established medium sized Architectural practice based just in the outskirts of Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Located in prestigious and recently restored expansive open plan offices our client have continued to go from strength to strength and now boast an incredibly robust portfolio of work across multiple sectors to include, retail, logistical, Residential and large commercial units, much of their repeat work is with well known blue chip clients. They have also recently opened a new studio space in Leeds city centre which is to facilitate further expansion and give their people the option of either working location or both!

Our client are increasingly requested to provide a bespoke Landscape Architect service therefore a unique opportunity exists here to develop and grow this part of the business which will result in future equity award and progression routes to Associate and Director level. Our clients plan is to secure a Landscape Architect with circa 5 years graduate experience who has the ability and commercial awareness to grow into the role. The practice can initially provide stability and project work for the Landscape Architect to be self sufficient and immediately busy with work, longer term they are hopeful the Landscape team will embark on an exciting growth plan and the work will continue to organically come into the practice with other future revenue streams also explored through a local network of contacts or networking routes.
Landscape Architect Requirements:
* Degree and / or post graduate qualification in relevant discipline (i.e. Landscape Architecture)
* 5 years' minimum post-qualification industry experience
* Experience working in a consultancy or Architectural Practice environment and working towards chartership highly desirable
* Experience in using KeySCAPE, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Modelling Software and preparing hand drawings
* Communication through hand drawing is also invaluable
* Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English
* Sound grounding in landscape planning including LVIAs is preferred but not essential
* A UK driver's license is preferred but not essential.
* Keen to develop into an Associate role and hungry for career progression.
