An international Product Design Consultancy are looking to hire a Design Researcher to bolster their user insights team. You'll be working with a diverse range of clients, conducting user-centred design research uncovering important insights to drive future innovation. Based in Cardiff, the company is offering a starting salary of c.£30,000, generous pension, 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and flexible working.
As Design Researcher will you be responsible for:
Facilitating user-centred design, technical and market research studies.
Designing and conducting qualitative interviews.
Planning and translating user and market insights include product design solutions.
Client liaison, presenting findings and outcomes.
Project and product road mapping.The successful Design Researcher will have:
Proven experience within user insights and/or user centred design.
Degree qualified in design, engineering, graphics, service design, psychology or marketing.
Experience designing and conducting qualitative interviews.
Experience as a Design Researcher, Product Designer or Consumer Insights Specialist.
Solid understanding of the design thinking process.In return you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes:
