We are recruiting for a Physical Education (PE) teacher to undertake a long-term role within Cardiff North. This full-time role has opportunities for 2023/24 contract extensions (subject to performance success). The applicant would look to start immediately after Christmas (9th January). This position is perfect for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) and experienced teachers. This school has been deemed 'Excellent' by Estyn as shown through their 'state of the art' sporting facilities (e.g., 4G pitches and modern sport halls). The school fosters an encouraging, supportive and hard-working environment that focuses upon personal growth for both staff and pupils.
Applicants need to be passionate, knowledgeable, and competent at creating a safe setting while pupils learn and excel. You will need strong management skills to ensure students remain on task and are reaching their full potential. Within this role, you will gain valuable experience by leading KS3, KS4, and KS5 lessons. Through interesting and innovative methods, you will motivate and encourage students to meet learning goals.
