Conrad Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Senior level Architect to join a thriving Architectural studio based on the outskirts of York to immediately support the design and project delivery of various Residential care home projects.

This established Medium-sized, ambitious studio works across a wide range of building types including Commercial, Residential and Healthcare, this practice has a local feel about it, and supplies an extensive list of repeat-user clients throughout the Yorkshire region and nationally

Their immediate focus is to support the project delivery of various Residential Care Home schemes with a value of circa £10-15million in value which are located across the UK. The position can be based within their studio in York or the role could be home based with occasional travel to the office for meetings and travel to site.

The current vacancy here would be best suited to a fully qualified ARB / RIBA affiliated Senior Architect with a minimum of 5 years practical experience working in UK Architectural practice, ideally you will have historically worked on care home projects, have a proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally a working knowledge of REVIT software.

Further responsibilities of the Senior Architect

* Reviewing & evaluating individual design schemes against client briefs

*Experience of working across all RIBA stages and capable of working self sufficiently,

* Preparing & coordinating construction information & drawing packages, reports and associated documentation for bids, feasibility studies and competitions

* Utilising numerous photorealistic software platforms to convey & present new schemes

* Passion for design and interest in developments within the Architecture industry

* Site based job running experience and excellent presentation skills.

* Ability to draw 'free hand' sketches and illustrate to a high level.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and a working knowledge of REVIT not essential)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, plus generous benefits package. Option of office or permanent remote working on offer.
